About me

My name is Francis Redwood and I am the creator and founder of "Goal to Go".

Unfortunately for me, I was quite late in getting my first taste of the NFL, watching Super Bowl 43 and the Pittsburgh Steelers holding off the underdog Arizona Cardinals, for their then record breaking sixth NFL title.

Ever since then however, all I think about is the NFL and I have gone out of my way to learn about the history of it and what made it become the greatest sport in the World.

I do whatever I can to get my NFL "fix", whether that be watching past games, to behind the scenes documentaries (All or Nothing, Hard Knocks, America's Game and A Football Life) to reading books, from Michael MacCambridge's "Americas Game" which details what the NFL of the past was, before it became the NFL of today, as well as Jerry Thornton's "From Darkness to Dynasty" covering the first 40 years of the New England Patriots, my supported team (please... pitchforks away people).

Everything about the NFL game intrigues me and I love it. This site is just somewhere for me to talk about the sport I so passionately follow and where I can provide updates on everything going on in today's game, as well as look back to events of the past (all of which I hope to add soon).

I hope that whoever takes their time to read any of this site, enjoys my words.
